Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Quality Compliance Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to develop and implement Quality Management Plans and Procedures related to Design.
What You'll Be Doing:
Engage during the proposal phase, to describe design quality processes and procedures in response to RFP requirements.
Establish, implement, and maintain a Design Quality Assurance System (DQAS) commensurate with the Program requirements and complexity.
Provide training, as needed, and ensure awareness of quality procedures and specific responsibilities in the QC process.
Provide direction to the design team and consultants on the DQAS when questions arise or during the review of QC documentation.
Perform Auditing/Surveillance of design functions at scheduled intervals to assess conformance with the Contract requirements, as applicable and manage all related follow-up activities.
Effectively documents, follows-up and closes corrective actions - both internal and external. Analyzes findings/ issues/ non-conformances identified during audits to determine program quality and identify performance trends. Analysis includes all available oversight results, both internal and external, and trending data.
Manage and ensure that KPIs related to the program construction are meeting targets and apply regularly RCA to ensure corrective actions are taken when needed.
Promotes quality awareness including adhering to quality process and requirements and ensure continuous improvement requirements and means are maintained in the Program.
Conduct surveillance of design submittals to confirm the documents are in substantial compliance with the DQAS.
Facilitates all internal and external Quality audits and briefs management with the results and act as the focal points for responses and follow up.
Determine whether a Corrective Action is necessary to bring awareness of design quality issues to the project manager and Design Team
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or Quality discipline
Twelve (12) years of design, project management, and design quality experience with 5 years of Design Quality experience
Experience in conducting quality engineering reviews and developing Design Quality Management Plans and Procedures.
Requires management ability and knowledge of Quality Management practices, processes and current technology.
Strong leadership and management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, strong analytical, problem solving, and risk assessment skills. Ability to make public presentations.
Strong attention to detail.
Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Visio. Project Planning skills are essential.
