Job Description:

Vaxcom Services LLC (a Parsons company) is looking for an experienced and talented Project Support Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to lead/manage a sensitive ongoing project.

What You'll Be Doing:

• A current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required to apply to this position.
• Leading recruitment and staffing efforts for the project/program on a daily basis ensuring all candidates fully meet and maintain required qualifications, including security clearance levels.
• Working closely with the Sponsor to establish project/program deployment and work schedules at various OCONUS locations and change as needed.
• Working closely with your team of 1099 (Independent Contractors) affiliates to prepare and successfully deploy them to several OCONUS locations. This will include onboarding, briefings, and submission of required documentation.
• Working closely with the Sponsor to identify, price, and assist in launching new work locations by providing required historical background for the project/program.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting issues that surface related to staffing of the work locations to ensure required facility coverage.
• Working closely with your team of 1099 affiliates by assisting them with travel arrangements including passport/facility badge management, lodging, air travel, ground transportation, and other related processes.
• Working closely with the Sponsor to ensure your 1099 affiliates are processed for various classified and unclassified computer system accesses.
• Working closely with the Sponsor to identify and implement necessary changes to the program with respect to efficiency, security, and operational results.
• Regularly interacting with the Sponsor to ensure performance standards of the program are being met by your 1099 affiliates. When necessary, providing guidance, mentoring, and counseling to any 1099 affiliates who are not fully meeting expectations.
• Working closely with your 1099 affiliates and company payroll office to ensure they are compensated in a timely, accurate fashion by submitting monthly invoices on their behalf.
• When appropriate, give formal/informal presentations to various Sponsor stakeholders and potential hires, including submitting monthly/regular reports.
• Other ad hoc responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Attending the Sponsor's monthly Program Management Review (PMR).
  • Verifying security clearances with the Sponsor on behalf of the Vaxcom enterprise.
  • Acting as the Program Manager in his absence.
  • Attending a weekly Vaxcom program meeting.
  • Assisting other Program teammates when appropriate with their taskings.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in a business administration or related field and five (5) years of related work experience; in lieu of degree, eight (8) years of related work experience.
• Two (2) years experience leading a program/project, or large scale initiative requiring the supervision of personnel and/or resources.
• Proven experience in problem solving at the lowest level to bring about successful outcomes.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to a wide audience.
• Proven experience in administering policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Must be a team player and be able to work independently.
• Schedule flexibility may be required occasionally to assist in resolving critical, time sensitive issues occurring OCONUS.
• Must possess a TS/SCI with polygraph at the time of application.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Three (3) years experience working in the Intelligence Community (IC).
• Cumulative total of five (5) years of managerial/supervisory experience leading personnel, and providing corrective counseling/guidance and mentoring to improve their performance.
• Experience working with senior leadership/management on a regular basis providing them with program updates.
• Experience working with an OCONUS program.
• Previous experience working in a travel related position.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
