Project Manager (Communities Off-site Professional & Support Facilities)
About the Role:
Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of off-site professional and support facilities for the NEOM The Line project. This role requires a deep understanding of complex construction projects, particularly in remote and challenging environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from conceptual design to final handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Team Management: Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing project team, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
- Scope Definition: Define and manage the project scope, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives and client requirements.
- Design Management: Oversee the design process, working closely with architects, engineers, and other design professionals.
- Construction Management: Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project schedules.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Financial Management: Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards.
- Safety Management: Prioritize safety and health, enforcing strict safety protocols and conducting regular safety inspections.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, preferably in large-scale, complex construction projects.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery, including experience in remote and challenging environments.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, specifications, and industry standards.
- Experience in managing international projects and working with multicultural teams.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
