Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a versatile and proactive Project Engineer (Saudi National) to join our project management team in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for the technical coordination and integration of various engineering disciplines, ensuring that project milestones are met on time and within budget. As a Project Engineer, you will act as the central point of contact for technical problem-solving, schedule management, and stakeholder alignment, playing a key role in delivering high-priority projects that support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Lead the integration of multidisciplinary engineering activities (civil, mechanical, electrical) to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Technical Management: Review and coordinate project schedules, technical specifications, and design drawings to ensure alignment with client objectives.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a primary interface between the client, contractors, and internal design teams to resolve technical conflicts and expedite approvals.

  • Budget & Schedule Control: Monitor project performance against the baseline schedule and budget. Identify variances and recommend corrective actions to maintain project momentum.

  • Contract Administration: Assist in the review of contractor submittals, RFIs, and change orders, ensuring all technical documentation is processed efficiently.

  • Site Support: Provide technical guidance to site teams during construction and commissioning phases to ensure work is performed according to the approved design.

Required Qualifications

  • Nationality: Must be a Saudi National.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction or related field) from an accredited university.

  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in project engineering or project management within the construction or infrastructure sector.

  • Professional Membership: Active registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).

  • Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills

  • Language: Fluency in Arabic and English with strong technical writing and presentation skills.

  • Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams and influence outcomes in a complex, fast-paced project environment.

  • Strategic Planning: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple project workstreams.
