Job Description:

Project Director - Construction (Infrastructure and Tunnels)

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Director - Construction to lead the on-site delivery of major infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on tunneling works. This is a site-based, hands-on leadership role requiring direct involvement in construction supervision and project execution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving full project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, schedule, and budget compliance, while maintaining strong coordination with stakeholders and consultants.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead and oversee the construction and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly tunneling works
• Provide strong on-site leadership and supervision throughout all construction phases
• Ensure project delivery aligns with approved scope, timelines, and budget
• Monitor site performance, construction progress, and risk mitigation strategies
• Coordinate closely with consultants, authorities, and project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, local regulations, and quality requirements
• Drive problem-solving on site and make timely technical and commercial decisions
• Manage and lead multidisciplinary construction supervision team

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Extensive experience in major infrastructure projects, with proven tunneling experience
• Strong background in construction supervision and site-based project delivery
• Demonstrated experience in a full delivery role (not design or office-based position)
• Background with consultants or client-side organizations preferred
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• 25 + years of experience.
