Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to provide project controls support for key Infrastructure projects in Quebec and Ontario, Canada.  The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing guidance and direction on challenging project controls problems. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required. Fluency in cost controlling terminology and methodologies is also required.

You will receive training and guidance from our Senior Project Controls staff. An inquisitive mind with openness to learning will thrive in this environment.

You will enjoy a hybrid work arrangement working three days a week in Parsons’ Montreal office and two days a week remote.

• Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of project control problems.

• Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts current status against an established baseline budget.

• Maintains and updates EAC, ETC, invoicing/cash flow, and EVM measures on a portfolio of projects

• Assesses the impact(s) of design changes and schedule slippages.

• Understands and applies engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships.

• Customizes project control systems to meet specific project requirements.

• Accumulates historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.

• Provides input to Sr. Project Control Staff regarding staffing requirements.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• 3+ years’ experience in Project Controls

• Bilingual in French and English

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.

​What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Primavera P6 would be a plus

• Experience in data analysis using PowerBI

• Experience with Infrastructure projects in the AEC industry
