Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Principal Information Manager to join our growing team! In this role, you will oversee all aspects of information management, IT infrastructure, and services for a major infrastructure program central to the United States’ border security initiatives.
We are seeking passionate, skilled, and experienced professionals to join a major program and construction management team that is dedicated to supporting a large government customer in successfully delivering on this significant initiative. In our anticipated role, Parsons will provide Owner Agent Construction Management Services including Program Management, Construction Management, Risk Management, Scheduling, Cost Estimating, Progress Reporting, Construction Quality Assurance, Safety, and other supporting services to achieve program success.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the program’s information management systems and IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with program goals and client expectations.
- Direct the implementation and administration of Program Management Information Systems (PMIS) such as Kahua, Procore, Oracle Primavera P6, and other tools to support program controls, documentation, and reporting.
- Oversee IT infrastructure and services, including office buildouts, remote connectivity solutions, and cloud-based environments, ensuring seamless operations for program teams.
- Lead the implementation of business analytics, dashboards, and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Power BI, ensuring they deliver actionable insights to program leadership and the client.
- Act as the primary liaison for translating technical information into strategic recommendations for senior program leadership and client stakeholders.
- Supervise and mentor Senior Information Managers and other team members, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of services across all program areas.
- Establish and implement policies, procedures, and workflows to optimize information management, enhance data security, and ensure compliance with program standards and government regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure alignment and successful delivery of program objectives.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 15+ years extensive experience as a technical consultant in a related industry, including supervisory experience and experience presenting information/assessments to senior personnel
- Extensive experience in information management and IT leadership roles within large-scale infrastructure or government programs.
- Expertise in leading the implementation of PMIS platforms such as Kahua, Procore, Oracle Primavera P6, and other leading tools.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including office buildouts, remote connectivity solutions, and cloud-based systems.
- Proven ability to oversee the implementation of business analytics and visualization tools, ensuring they meet program needs and deliver strategic insights.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into strategic insights for senior leadership and client stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities, with experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results under tight deadlines.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
