Job Description:

PMC Project Director - (Low rise & Infrastructure)

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced and proactive PMC Project Director to lead the delivery of a major low-rise residential and infrastructure development in Abu Dhabi, with a project value exceeding AED 1 billion. The role requires strong leadership across construction supervision, client management, and commercial delivery, ensuring successful execution of large-scale community developments and associated infrastructure works.

What You'll Be Doing"

• Oversee the construction and delivery of large-scale development works exceeding AED 1 billion in value.

• Serve as the primary client interface, leading high-level meetings and ensuring strong stakeholder relationships.

• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high engagement, accountability, and performance across all disciplines.

• Oversee the Construction Supervision Consultant and coordinate across multiple contractors and stakeholders.

• Ensure effective delivery of multiple construction packages with complex interfaces, maintaining control of schedule, cost, quality, and safety.

• Lead project governance, ensuring adherence to PMC frameworks, reporting requirements, and best practices.

• Provide strong oversight of contract administration, commercial management, and claims avoidance.

• Ensure risks are proactively identified and mitigated, particularly in relation to cost, schedule, and contractual exposure.

• Drive coordination between design, construction, and supervision teams to ensure seamless execution.

• Monitor progress and provide clear, structured reporting to the client and senior management.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Degree in a relevant field with 20+ years of experience in infrastructure or housing development projects.

• Proactive, adaptable, and strong communicator with proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.

• Experienced in fast-paced, complex project environments, able to make informed decisions under pressure.

What Desired Skills Youll Bring

• Prior PMC experience, with a strong construction background within consultancy environments, and proven exposure to complex, high-value developments in the UAE, preferably in Abu Dhabi.

• Knowledge of project management tools, contract administration, and construction standards is highly desirable.
