We are supporting a game-changing software development approach in support of the United States Air Force (USAF) and the larger Space Community through the development and support for robust DevSecOps pipelines and containerized deployments to help deliver new capabilities. Our team is looking for an experienced individual with a background in both object-oriented development and experience with applying DevOps principles to a cloud-based enterprise platform. We are looking for someone who can work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this position, you will be a member of a highly collaborative, multi-contractor support team. We’re looking for team players who are willing to embrace pair programming and possess strong communication skills. You will be supporting the development and enhancement of collaboration and knowledge management tools for a wide range of government customers.

This position is located in Colorado Springs and requires working in the office at least 3 days per week.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with at least 3 years of technical experience. Additional relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree
• Knowledge of collaboration tools and administration (e.g., Mattermost, Slack)
• Experience developing within an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
• Experience with Git Ops and version control software (e.g. Git)
• Experience with DevOps tools with an emphasis on CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Gitlab, Nexus, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker)
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Golang, Python, Java, C#)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment and possess a willingness to take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly
• Possess a DoD 8140.03/8570.01 Information Assurance Technical II certification (e.g. Security+) or able to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English
• Must be a US Citizen due to DoD contract

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Platform One or other DoD Software Factories
• Knowledge of the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence) including front-end and administrative functions & its plugin structure
• Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Powershell, ScriptRunner)

• Experience writing front-end software using pre-existing frameworks (e.g. React Typescript, Angular, Vue JS, Vuepress, etc.)
• Experience and knowledge of Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools (e.g., Fortify, SonarQube, Prisma Cloud Compute)
• Experience with application deployment in Docker Containers
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to include services such as VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or other container orchestration tools
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g, Helm, Ansible)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience with access management and client account technical support (SSO, Keycloak, Appgate)

Salary Range: 

$100,900.00 - $176,600.00
