Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Planning and Project Control Manager to join our team for a major aviation program in the European Union (EU). In this role you will be responsible for leading and managing all planning, scheduling, and project control functions for a large, complex airport development program. Ensures accurate and integrated project plans, cost forecasts, and performance monitoring systems are implemented to deliver the program on time and within budget.
This role requires substantial experience in the implementation of large construction or infrastructure projects, including project controls leadership roles on multiple EUR 115M+ projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead project planning and control functions, including scheduling, cost control, earned value, and performance reporting.
Develop and maintain integrated master schedules and cost-loaded plans.
Establish KPIs, baselines, and control systems to track project performance.
Monitor and report on progress, forecasts, risks, and variances to program leadership.
Support decision-making through scenario modelling and time/cost impact assessments.
Coordinate with design, construction, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure alignment of schedules and budgets.
Lead the implementation of project control systems and tools across multiple project packages.
Mentor and manage project controls teams.
Ensure compliance with EU standards, client procedures, and international best practices.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
At least 15 years of professional experience in planning and project controls on large, complex construction projects or in the operation of infrastructure or industrial facilities.
Has held the same or a similar position for at least two projects with a value of at least EUR 115 000 000.
Within the last 10 years, has also worked as a designer (designing, not reviewing) of at least two construction or detailed designs with a value of at least EUR 46 000 000.
Must have at least 1 year of experience in Poland as a member of a construction supervision team for a new airport, industrial facility, or transport infrastructure project with a minimum value of EUR 175 000 000.
Have experience with Polish Public Procurement Law (PPL).
Strong command of English for project control documentation and reporting (Polish preferred as required by client).
