Job Description:
Are you looking for flexible part time work? We are hiring for a Junior program analyst in person in Centreville VA a few hours a day. The position will support a large multi-disciplinary team of professionals that are solving the most critical cyber challenges for the United States Government. The candidate will implement established procedures, perform a variety of routine and non-routine tasks to include: administrative, clerical, data collection, and report writing. The candidate will receive direction from immediate supervisor in completing non-routine assignments. Overall, the candidate will become a key part of elevating the efficiency and performance of the entire growing team.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen with possible future ability to get clearance
- 1 year of experience working in an office environment
- Degree from Accredited College or University
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Power Point
- Excellent organization, documentation, and time management skills
- Self-starter attitude
Example Day-to-Day Job Activities
- Complete small dollar purchases using a corporate procurement card and effectively documents card activity
- Fill out and submits expense reports
- Welcome new team members and guides them through first-day paperwork
- Coordinates customer visits and meetings to ensure personnel and meeting space is arranged.
- Handle catering and coordination for team lunches and events.
- Work as a liaison between program and various departments: IT, Security, Facilities, and more, Schedules meetings and organizes meeting space requirements.
- Submit IT tickets for all necessary resources for new and existing employees
- Maintain and submit weekly report to leadership with portfolio weekly updates
- Program Support
- Capture meeting notes and produces summary reports including action items
- Tracks and gathers information on events, opportunities, and news to produce regular status updates for team distribution
- Maintain employee directory and related data pertaining to employees assigned to the unit, including company resumes and clearance status
- Perform annual government property inventory in conjunction with functional team to meet audit requirements
- Collect key metrics and points of interest for distribution to leadership
- Types up and distributes reports as directed by immediate supervisor
- Originates correspondence and reports not requiring the personal attention of immediate supervisor
