About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Massachusetts Operations Lead to join our Northeast team. Reporting to the Northeast Regional Manager, you will oversee operations, drive business growth, and lead a talented team delivering bridge, tunnel, transit, road, and highway projects across Massachusetts. This is a unique opportunity to combine your technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen to make a lasting impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Massachusetts Operations Lead, you will:

• Lead Operations: Oversee the successful execution of transportation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Drive Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to expand Parsons’ presence in Massachusetts, leveraging key accounts and identifying new opportunities with MassDOT, MBTA, and other local agencies.

• Foster Collaboration: Build strong relationships across business lines, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and alignment with client goals.

• Mentor and Develop Talent: Guide and support a high-performing team of engineers and project managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.

• Achieve Operational Excellence: Manage P&L responsibilities, including meeting or exceeding sales, operating profit, margin, and DSO targets.

• Be a Seller/Doer: Balance business development and project management responsibilities, actively participating in proposals, client presentations, and project delivery.

• Innovate Solutions: Champion creative approaches to solving complex infrastructure challenges, ensuring Parsons remains a trusted partner in the region.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education & Licensure: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license in Massachusetts required.

• Experience: 20+ years of experience managing diverse infrastructure projects, including a proven track record of delivering large-scale MassDOT projects.

• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with experience mentoring teams and fostering collaboration.

• Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in meeting operational goals, managing P&L, and driving market development.

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of transportation design and project management, with a focus on bridges, tunnels, transit, roads, and highways.

• Client Focus: Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Salary Range: $155,600.00 - $280,100.00
