Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an amazingly talent Logistics Specialist to join our team!  You will work with an established team of experienced engineers, scientists, and developers to turn concepts into reality in support of the Warfighter. Formulate innovative solutions to problems -- then design, build, and integrate them.

For this opportunity we're looking for a dedicated individual with requisite skills to support a wide variety of logistical, warehouse, and test support functions.  The successful candidate will be willing to learn on the job, take on any task, and work to make the team a success.  This opportunity is located at the U.S. Army’s Electronic Proving Ground (EPG) in Fort Huachuca, AZ and supports the U.S. Army’s PEO Soldier organization headquartered in Fort Belvoir, VA.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Oversee the receipt of material/equipment from Fort Belvoir or OEM vendors into the EPG warehouse.

• Verify equipment and/or materials against receiving documents

• Note and report discrepancies and obvious damages while routing deliveries to prescribed storage locations

• Storing, stacking, and palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods

• Organize and take inventory of stored equipment/materials

• Examination of stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage

• Removing equipment/materials from storage and preparing for shipment

• Assist in the maintenance of received material

• Issue equipment to Soldiers and Testers for test events, receive equipment back upon completion of event/exercise

• Ship equipment and materials onward as directed (e.g. to designated depots, Fort Belvoir VA, OEM, etc.)

• Ability to assist with test events and demonstrations as required

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma

• 10+ years' experience in Warehouse and Logistics support

• Must be able to lift to 40 pounds

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Secret Security Clearance

• Former Army supply sergeant E6/7/8 and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) experience is a plus
