Job Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW                                           

Parsons is seeking a Senior Logistics Project Coordinator to provide tracking, status reports, and logistics plans to support and ensure distribution and delivery commitments of products, equipment and systems. The Senior Logistics PC will be responsible for procuring, tracking, receiving, storing, shipping, and maintaining inventory of C-UAS project material throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior Logistics PC will be responsible for managing hardware, software, and service purchases for large, complex hardware/software systems consisting of multiple geographically distributed systems and diverse configurations within a multifaceted network environment. The Senior PC will also be responsible for coordinating and communicating with customers, vendors/suppliers, and procurement entities. This position would be responsible for communicating with local and off-site internationally dispersed team members to coordinate a logistics response to emerging requirements. The role demands close collaboration with suppliers, logistics facilitators (GDIT) and SIM logisticians to ensure the timely acquisition and delivery of resources, aligning with project timelines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Responsible for all aspects of C-UAS logistics and providing a single point of contact for this program pillar and functional area.
  • Responsible for inventory, pre-planning, forecasting, coordinating, ordering, pre-staging, and shipping equipment for diplomatic installations.
  • Organize the site, labeling containers, barcoding equipment, and locations, setting up the site for use of automated equipment scanning tools for inventory management.
  • Support the purchase of software licenses and hardware assets through all steps of the procurement life cycle.
  • Open, monitor, and complete Purchase Orders and Purchase Requests in CMMS and respond to requests as they are received from managers.
  • Prepare, submit for pre-approval, and execute all Credit Card Purchase Orders (CCPOs), as directed by the Core Office and/or Government Technical Monitor (GTM).
  • Monitor material movement through the procurement process and resolve any impediments.
  • Liaise with GDIT and SIM Logistics planners to prioritize urgent procurement requests and coordinate shipment or delivery of the material.
  • Creates and maintains logistics tracking documentation and provides project updates to the Core Office and alerts the PM when critical failures may occur.
  • Uses the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS) to procure, receive, and maintain project material throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintains asset inventory throughout the year and execute the conduct of quarterly 25% and annual inventories.
  • Become knowledgeable of shipping options, to include commercial shipping vendors and the government’s unclassified and classified pouch systems to ship and receive material.
  • Conducts monthly inventories of on-hand consumable items and checks inventory levels of non-asset tagged material.
  • Physically delivers and receives material across the NCR and to other sites as required by the customer.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and organization of physical storage sites.
  • Coordinates with applicable authorities to facilitate the shipping, receipt, and disposal of hazardous materials and ensures safe and regulatory compliant storage.
  • Ensure all C-UAS material shipped via air freight is in full compliance with ALDACs, FAM / FAH and State Department guidance on shipping Lithium-Ion Batteries and hazardous material.
  • Submit government property DS-584 property management documents to the Maintenance and Training Manager IAW the FAM / FAH and State Department Guidance to correlate with asset location changes or change in custodial responsibilities.
  • Ensure all C-UAS materials shipped have conducted the following: WO created (by manager); inventory completed, transfer documentation (DS-132 or DS-584) uploaded to WO, paper copy inventory and transfer docs included in shipment; and is hazardous material compliant.
  • Responsible for packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T) including import/export.
  • Track all equipment from point of shipment to point of receipt.
  • Create and submit reports on logistics activity.
  • Implements and maintains a safe workplace program to ensure that safety is the highest workplace priority.
  • Other duties as assigned by management in order to support customer requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Experience with Government customers preferred
  • Experience effectively and professionally communicating technical and program related information to multiple stakeholders and adherence to established communications plans.
  • Candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities in dynamic, politically sensitive environments ensuring customer expectations are managed.
  • Candidate must have at least one year of CMMS and/or logistics operating systems experience

Specialized Knowledge/Skills Requirements

  • Candidate shall possess and maintain a valid Remote Pilot Certificate under Part 107 of Federal Aviation Administration
  • Candidate shall earn and maintain a valid Parsons Drone Program certification
  • Candidate will maintain a professional demeanor, demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills to resolve issues with all stakeholders. 
  • Excellent problem solving skills, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work within a team, take the initiative and show strong attention to detail
  • Proactive problem solver, expected to present problems and recommendations simultaneously
  • Candidate must be prepared for travel up to 15% of the time for potential deployments to domestic C-UAS test locations or international locations.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Physical requirements can include walking, climbing, crawling through small spaces, and standing or sitting for long periods of time.
  • Regularly need to lift upwards to 50 pounds.

Salary Range: $70,500.00 - $123,400.00
