Job Description:

Landscape Engineer

Abu Dhabi / Al Dhafra Region, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to plan, schedule, supervise, and exercise administrative authority over all field of engineering work.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supervise soft landscape activities including planting, pruning, trimming, fertilization, pest management, and soil improvement works.

• Monitor plant health and diagnose issues related to irrigation, soil, or pests, ensuring timely corrective actions.

• Coordinate daily with irrigation and horticulture teams to maintain optimal landscape quality.

• Prepare landscape performance reports, plant inventory logs, and weekly progress summaries.

• Maintain updated records of plant quantities, replacements, survival rates, and maintenance activities.

• Review contractor submissions and verify compliance with approved specifications.

• Conduct softscape audits across all cities and assess compliance with DMT/DRM standards.

• Track plant survival rates, replacements, and corrective actions.

• Establishes and maintains liaison with the discipline design engineering staff. Reviews and interprets discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure current revision level and correct technical execution of the work

• Provides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline(s); coordinates application of solutions

• Monitors material procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedule within the assigned discipline. Ensures that materials received meet specifications and established standards of quality.

• Initiates and maintains records, back-charge procedures, progress reports, etc., as required.

• Collaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• B.Sc. Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of O&M experiences) practical O&M experience – agriculture or landscape engineer certificate

• Have full and complete knowledge of existing infrastructure Networks in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi

• Knowledge and work experience pipelines, connection Chambers and Pumping Station works, non-disruptive road crossings is required

• Experience in dealing with emergency works and ability to deal with the Public and coordinate with various infrastructure Authorities related to the Projects

• Exceptional articulate communication skills both verbal and written.

• Experience advising client of best systems, materials, products and sustainability for irrigation/water feature systems

• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Autocad
