Job Description:

Junior Architect (UAE National)

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is looking for an entry-level Architect to join our team on a villa construction project! In this role, you will work with a young and dynamic team to support the design and delivery of high-quality residential villas.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist in developing architectural design solutions for villa projects, from concept through detailed design.

• Prepare drawings, models, and presentations under the guidance of senior architects.

• Support the coordination of architectural information with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.

• Assist with the preparation of schedules, reports, and documentation for design and construction.

• Participate in design reviews and workshops with the project team.

• Work collaboratively with internal team members and external stakeholders as directed.

• Take responsibility for allocated tasks and deliver them within agreed timeframes and quality standards.

• Perform other related tasks as directed by senior team members.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or architectural engineering.

• Prior experience or internships and academic projects in residential design are an advantage).

• A foundational understanding of architectural design principles for residential and villa projects.

• Basic knowledge of construction detailing and materials commonly used in villa construction.

• Awareness of relevant building codes, regulations, health and safety requirements, and sustainability principles.

• Basic understanding of the regional construction industry and local construction methods, or a willingness to learn.

• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative design environment.

• Technical skills in standard architectural software such as Autocad, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with MS Office.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality drawings and documents.

• Good communication skills with both internal team members and external parties when required.
