Job Description:

Parsons are seeking a motivated Interface Engineer (Electrical) - Saudi National to support the coordination and management of electrical interfaces across multiple contractors and systems on a major airfield development project. The role focuses on identifying, tracking, and resolving electrical interface issues between airside, landside, terminal, and utility systems to ensure seamless integration and timely project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in electrical engineering roles within infrastructure or aviation-related projects.

What You'll Be Doing;

  • Identify, define, and manage electrical interfaces between various disciplines including power distribution, airfield lighting, substations, SCADA, ICT, and MEP systems.
  • Maintain and update the electrical interface register, ensuring clear ownership, responsibilities, and resolution timelines.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and client teams to resolve interface clashes and discrepancies.
  • Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to identify potential interface risks.
  • Support coordination meetings related to electrical works across airside and landside packages.
  • Assist in tracking design changes and ensuring interface impacts are communicated to all stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between electrical contractors, other discipline engineers, and project controls teams.
  • Support alignment between construction sequencing and electrical interface requirements.
  • Participate in interface workshops and coordination reviews.
  • Prepare interface-related reports, logs, and dashboards for internal and client review.
  • Ensure interface resolutions are properly documented and closed out in line with project procedures.
  • Ensure electrical interface activities comply with project HSE standards and approved procedures.
  • Support safe coordination of energization and testing activities at interface points.

What You'll Be Doing;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical engineering or interface coordination roles.
  • Exposure to infrastructure, airport, or large-scale construction projects is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with interface management processes and coordination workflows.
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic engineering documentation review.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience working on airport or airfield electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with Aconex, BIM 360, or interface management tools.
  • Knowledge of multidisciplinary coordination environments.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, complex project settings
