Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HS&E Specialist (Saudi National) to join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist the Project or Program Manager in implementing and maintaining Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) programs across project sites.
• Support the administration and execution of site-specific SH&E plans to ensure compliance with project, client, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct audits of projects and worksites to verify compliance with corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and provide recommendations to eliminate or control safety, health, and environmental risks.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports, audit reports, and corrective action recommendations.
• Monitor project planning and work execution to ensure activities comply with Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) requirements.
• Support the implementation of occupational injury, incident reporting, and incident management processes.
• Analyze inspection findings, audit results, and incident trends, and prepare reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with new employee safety orientations and onboarding activities.
• Deliver SH&E training programs and promote industry best practices across project teams.
• Maintain accurate training records and safety documentation.
• Participate in routine safety briefings, toolbox talks, and workforce awareness programs.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture.
• Support emergency preparedness activities and contribute to the continual improvement of safety performance across the project.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as required.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE/SH&E) roles.
• Working knowledge of applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of recognized safety standards and industry best practices, including ANSI, NFPA, and related standards.
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
• Experience delivering safety training and awareness programs.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to identify hazards and recommend practical corrective and preventive actions.
