Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Health and Safety Manager to join our team! In this role you will assist the program manager in administering SH&E programs.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist the project or program manager with administering the SH&E programs.
• Audit the project and its worksites against corporate standards.
• Inspect worksites to detect hazard; provides expertise to project personnel to eliminate/control the SH&E risks associated with exposure to the hazards.
• Create and submit written audit and inspection reports.
• Monitor project or program work planning and performance; verify planning and work performance conforms to Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) management system.
  Implement Parsons’ occupational injury and incident reporting and management processes.
• Perform trends analyses on audit findings, inspection findings, and incident reports; creates and submits regular analysis reports.
• Perform regulatory and best practice SH&E training.
• Create and maintains SH&E training records.
• Participate in routine safe work briefings.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field (or equivalent experience)
• NEBOSH Certification (or equivalent) with minimum 8 years' experience and at least 4 years in a similar role
• Working knowledge of federal and state SH&E regulations and reporting procedures
• Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
