Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Handover Manager who would be responsible for overseeing the handover process of construction projects, ensuring a seamless transition from project completion to operational readiness. This role involves developing a comprehensive handover strategy, coordinating with various stakeholders, and conducting final inspections to ensure all project requirements are met.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Handover Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive handover plan that outlines all necessary steps and requirements for project completion.
  • Ensure the handover strategy aligns with project timelines, budgets, and client expectations.

• Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including clients, operations teams, and subcontractors, to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all handover-related inquiries and issues.

• Final Inspections:

  • Organize and conduct final inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Address any punch-list items and ensure all deficiencies are resolved prior to the formal handover.

• Documentation Management:

  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed, including as-built drawings, operation manuals, and maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of all handover activities and communications.

• Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to the client’s operational teams on the use and maintenance of completed systems and facilities.
  • Develop user guides and training materials as needed.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Evaluate the handover process post-completion to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future projects.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ yearsProven experience in project management, specifically in handover or commissioning roles within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
