Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented full-stack Software Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support the development and integration of diverse and challenging systems that are constantly evolving with the technology landscape.  

You will be an integral part of our team solving challenging mission-focused problems to meet customer needs. You will participate on an Agile team to develop well-designed, testable, and efficient code. You will collaborate with team members in person or remotely, ask smart questions, take risks, and champion innovative solutions. 

What You’ll be Doing: 

• Work within an established software architecture and collaborating with senior engineers, you will design, develop, and maintain full-stack software applications using Python, React, and TypeScript to integrate, process, and correlate structured and unstructured intelligence data through APIs and backend services.
• Develop interactive dashboards, custom interfaces, and data visualization capabilities to support SIGINT analysis, vulnerability research, and collaborative mission workflows, while enabling integration with external AI platforms.
• Collaborate with mission stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions through Agile development practices, automated testing, and continuous integration. 

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of related professional experience
• Active Secret clearance is required

• Experience developing full-stack applications using Java, C++, and React/TypeScript 

• Experience developing backend services and RESTful APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or equivalent technologies 

• Experience developing interactive user interfaces and dashboards using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks 

• Experience working with structured data formats such as JSON and XML and relational databases such as PostgreSQL 

• Familiarity with data ingestion, parsing, transformation, and integration across multiple data sources 

• Experience using Git, software debugging tools, and automated testing frameworks. 

• Familiarity with Linux development environments and containerization technologies such as Docker 

• Understanding of software engineering principles, secure coding practices, and Agile development methodologies 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary technical teams 

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience developing software supporting SIGINT, intelligence analysis, cyber operations, or other national security missions 

• Familiarity with reverse engineering, vulnerability research, or cyber threat analysis. 

• Familiarity with data fusion, entity resolution, record correlation, or graph-based data relationships 

• Familiarity with graph databases, NoSQL databases, or modern data processing frameworks. 

• Experience developing data visualization interfaces using libraries such as D3.js, Plotly, or equivalent technologies 

• Experience working with unstructured data, including text extraction, metadata enrichment, and automated data classification 

• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), and integration with external AI platforms through APIs 

• Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automated software deployment 

• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, authentication, authorization, and secure API development 

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
