Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented FPS-117 Radar Engineer to join our team! **This position is located in Saudi Arabia** No Remote Work

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supports the RSAF Officer-in-Charge by:

• Actively advising and assisting in all aspects of his specialty.

• Continuously monitoring of all RSAF training in his specialty and recommending improvements.

• Training RSAF Engineering Officers and Warrant Officers in practical and theory.

• Producing adequate engineering training material in his specialty.

• Performing intermediate level maintenance in his specialty as required.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• BS degree and typically 10+ years of related professional experience.

• Must have a minimum of fifteen (10+) years’ experience on a wide variety of surveillance Radars including FPS-117.

• Must have theoretical and practical knowledge and experience with FPS-117 Radar operation & maintenance.

• The experience should include installation, testing, integration, upgrades and modifications to the FPS-117 Radars.

• Overall experience with Radars should include Air Defense Ground Radar, Primary/Secondary, all aspects of 3- dimensional Radar plot extractors, Height Computers, and interface equipment.

• The technical know-how should include Antennas, Processors, computers, monitoring, data transmission, plot extractors, power systems and other sub systems associated with FPS-I17 Radars.

• Specific experience with the FPS-117 is required to include at least three (3) years in developing and/or maintaining the FPS-117 Radar System.

• Supporting Mobile Maintenance Team (MMT) functions and travel to remote radar sites to perform specialized maintenance, trouble shooting, and training.
