Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an exceptional Lead Field Engineer – ICT (Aviation) to join our high-impact team working on cutting-edge aviation infrastructure. If you're passionate about innovative technology, field engineering, and delivering excellence in complex ICT systems, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing;

• Lead field execution and inspection of structured cabling, networking infrastructure, data centers, and airport-specific ICT systems (e.g., FIDS, CUTE/CUPPS, CCTV, access control).
• Ensure installations comply with project specifications, international standards, and ICT best practices.
• Supervise fiber optic splicing, termination, rack installations, and equipment mounting.
• Provide on-site technical support, interpreting ICT design drawings and resolving conflicts with other systems (MEP, civil).
• Coordinate with OEMs, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless system integration.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and verification of ICT systems for functionality and performance.
• Liaise daily with contractors, ICT vendors, and site supervision teams to align works with schedule and scope.
• Participate in ICT coordination meetings and manage field progress tracking.
• Maintain updated field documentation including markups, test results, and redline drawings.
• Promote HSE best practices in all ICT installation and testing activities.
• Ensure proper cable management, grounding, and safe work practices.
• Review and approve ICT-related method statements, ITPs, and submittals.
• Maintain records of inspections, tests, and site issues for audit and compliance purposes.
• Support ICT asset handover and as-built documentation.
• Guide junior ICT engineers and subcontractor technicians.
• Provide training on inspection standards, safety, and quality protocols.

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in ICT field engineering or infrastructure delivery.
• Proven experience on complex or aviation infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems (TIA/EIA standards), passive and active network components.
• Familiarity with airport ICT systems and integration challenges.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Good understanding of testing and commissioning protocols for ICT systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, and issue-resolution skills.
• Industry certifications (e.g., BICSI, CCNA, CompTIA, PMP).
• Experience with aviation or mission-critical ICT systems.
• Knowledge of fiber optics, wireless systems, IP-based security systems.
• Experience with digital documentation platforms (BIM 360, Aconex).
