Job Description:
'Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Field Admin Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to provide management and oversight for financial, contractual and regulatory matters in support of a large government contract.
T5 Program Summary: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons in April 2023. Parsons is the prime contractor. This $1.8+ billion contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities that support the FAA’s Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and certain reimbursable programs, the FAA NextGen Program, national security programs and aviation safety. Specifically, work includes site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, drafting, contract surveillance, and other technical services as required. Work is performed across the nation in each of the FAA’s nine regions as well as the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey and in several U.S. territories. An average staff of 500 with a peak staff over 650 supports this contract, in addition to those subcontractors who perform construction work
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage a team of geographically dispersed Field Office Administrators
- Oversee the creation and processing of vendor payment vouchers.
- Reporting and ensuring compliance with tax reporting requirements.
- Oversee the creation and processing of cost reclassifications/journal entries.
- Oversee the creation and processing of FedEx Shipping.
- Oversee the deployment and usage of mobile hotspots.
- Coordinate resolution of office maintenance and repair issues.
- Coordinate the ordering of office supplies.
- Oversee the electronic distribution of physical mail received in program office.
- Ensure proper business licenses are maintained for office locations.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.
- 8+ years of experience, including prior accounting/financial experience on a project.
- Must be willing to commute to DC office(L'Enfant Plaza) twice a week.
- Must be able to meet customer security requirements. A background check by Federal Authorities will be performed.
- Proven ability to perform in a lead capacity and manage staff.
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and company policies and procedures are required.
- Familiarity and experience with tax reporting requirements for government contracting.
- Experience using and knowledge of government accounting software systems like Deltek Costpoint.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.), and the ability to train others in use.
- Experience generating and tracking key performance indicators for reporting progress to management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
