What You’ll Do:

• Participate in or lead design and code reviews to ensure quality and innovation.
• Develop real-time, stream, and batch processing software that drives mission success.
• Build scalable, web-based data visualization and analytic platforms using technologies like Java, Spring, ETL pipelines, microservices, and scalable databases (Hadoop, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL).
• Create and deploy software using Python, Gradle, Docker, Vagrant, Ansible, Maven, GitLab, and Bash.
• Explore and learn new software and hardware technologies to stay ahead of the curve.

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret SCI Clearance (mandatory for this role).
• Ability to work in person at our Centreville, VA location.
• Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, or JavaScript development.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active TS SCI w/Polygraph clearance.
• Experience working in a Linux development environment.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including the OSI model.
• DevOps experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Gradle, CMake, Zabbix, and Vagrant.
• Advanced C++ experience with Boost, TBB, and DPDK.
• Virtual machine and containerization experience (e.g., VMware, Libvirt, Docker, Podman).
• Deployment scripting experience with Ansible or Salt.
• Operational Linux skills with technologies like SNMP, NTP, Systemd, Cron, DNF, and Git.
• SQL experience with databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• NoSQL experience with platforms like Hadoop, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.
• Spring Boot development experience.
• Scripting expertise with Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Front-end (full-stack) development experience with Angular and Material-UI using TypeScript.
