Job Description:

Electrical Inspector / Engineer (UAE National)
Abu Dhabi Site

Parsons is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Dry Utilities / Electrical Inspector (Engineer) to join our team

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist the Civil/Utilities Assistant Resident Engineer in performing site duties related to dry utilities, particularly electrical, telecom, and street lighting works, in accordance with approved shop drawings and project specifications.
• Inspect and monitor installation of electrical systems including substations, feeder pillars, MCC panels, control cabinets, cable laying (LV/MV), terminations, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Oversee telecom/ITS ducting, cabling, and associated infrastructure works to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Supervise street lighting works including poles, luminaires, cabling, control systems, and integration with MCC and control panels.
• Maintain a detailed daily site diary of work activities, inspections, and observations.
• Review and respond to Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) submitted by the contractor in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and monitor implementation of HSE procedures on site.
• Provide technical input to resolve electrical and dry utility-related issues arising during construction.
• Ensure that project quality control procedures are properly implemented for all inspection and supervision activities.
• Witness testing, commissioning, and acceptance procedures for electrical and telecom systems.
• Verify as-built drawings for accuracy and completeness within the assigned discipline

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• fresh graduate have interest can apply and if have relevant experience in inspection of electrical and dry utilities works, including street lighting, substations, feeder pillars, MCC panels, control systems, and telecom/ITS infrastructure.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and make sound technical judgments.
• Commitment to safe work practices and quality assurance.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of construction specifications, drawings, and electrical/utility installation processes.
• Proficient in using computer systems for reporting, record-keeping, and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple inspections and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage.
