Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Interface Manager to join our team! In this role you will get responsible for coordinating and integrating design efforts across multiple disciplines, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between teams and stakeholders, .

What You'll Be Doing:

• Oversee the coordination of design work across multiple disciplines (e.g., architecture, engineering, MEP) to ensure seamless integration and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage the interfaces between different design teams, ensuring that all design elements align and work together efficiently.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between internal design teams, external contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of design issues.
• Organize and lead design coordination meetings to review progress, address design conflicts, and ensure project milestones are met.
• Ensure all design work adheres to relevant industry standards, client specifications, and project requirements.
• Identify and resolve any design conflicts, clashes, or issues, ensuring that all parties are aligned on design solutions.
• Monitor design progress, ensuring timely delivery of design documents and compliance with project schedules.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and project stakeholders regarding design status and interface-related issues.
• Identify potential risks or delays in design coordination and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
• Proactively address design interface challenges to maintain project timelines and quality.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in design and project management to improve coordination processes.
• Suggest improvements to design workflows and communication strategies to enhance efficiency.

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in design management or project coordination, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience in large-scale projects and airport or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage relationships with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to resolve design conflicts and manage design interfaces effectively.
• Experience with design software and tools is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
