Job Description:

Parsons are seeking a highly experienced Delivery Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale landscape and road infrastructure projects. This role requires deep expertise in project delivery, construction management, contract administration, and stakeholder coordination.

The ideal candidate will have 20+ years of experience, including proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver multi-million or multi-billion-dollar infrastructure programs on time, within scope, and on budget. The Delivery Manager will ensure all project activities align with client expectations, quality standards, and safety regulations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Implement project delivery frameworks, governance models, and performance measurement systems.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure integrated planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Monitor project progress, manage milestones, and proactively address delays or deviations.
  • Collaborate with planners, engineers, and contractors to optimize construction sequencing and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews to ensure adherence to designs, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Oversee cost management, including budget control, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Review contracts, variations, claims, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement corrective actions to mitigate cost overruns and maximize project value.
  • Serve as the primary interface with clients, government authorities, and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and KPIs to communicate project performance and critical issues.
  • Resolve conflicts and ensure effective communication across all project participants.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and monitor implementation.
  • Ensure adherence to quality management systems, environmental requirements, and safety standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and predictability.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate multidisciplinary project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, support professional development, and promote collaboration.
  • Drive knowledge sharing and lessons learned for ongoing project improvement.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Master’s preferred.
  • 20+ years in infrastructure delivery, including at least 10 years in senior leadership roles managing large landscape and road projects.
  • Proven expertise in large-scale infrastructure project delivery, including landscape and roads.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI).
  • Deep understanding of construction sequencing, risk management, cost control, and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of contract standards (FIDIC or equivalent) and procurement processes.
  • Professional certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing multi-phase, multi-stakeholder road and landscape projects.
  • Expertise in digital project controls, reporting dashboards, and data analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under high-pressure environments.
