Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Counterintelligence (CI) Cyber Threat Analyst to join our team! In this role, you will ensure the completion of required reports with minimal errors, train analysts on standard operating procedures, and contribute to annual production requirements.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Producing weekly actionable Technical CI (Cyber) status reports, monthly Technical CI threat reports, quarterly Technical CI threat reports, and annual Cyber Threat Assessments.
- Writing Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs) and conducting inquiries of anomalous activity using automated investigative tools.
- Providing Technical CI advice and expertise in support of CI inquiries, operations, and issues.
- Developing leads by detecting anomalous activity, conducting open-source and classified research, and liaising with internal and external partners.
- Conducting research, evaluating collection, and performing analysis on Technical CI intelligence topics.
- Performing threat analysis, threat forecasts, and threat alerts, and recommending countermeasures.
- Coordinating CI Cyber activities originating from Enterprise Incident Response Events.
- Collaborating with internal and external partners to support the CI Cyber Mission.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- A minimum of 11 years of Threat Analysis experience, of which at least 5 years include Technical Threat Analysis experience or cyber investigations.
- Certification to comply with DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance (IA) requirements within one calendar year of assignment. Must possess or obtain and maintain IA II certification.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Credentialed graduate of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics disciplines.
- Post-graduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics disciplines.
- Knowledge and understanding of foreign adversaries’ security and intelligence services, terrorist organizations, and threats posed to the U.S. Government.
- Experience translating Government vision into understandable and achievable measures and using supervisory skills to coach teammates to achieve objectives.
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret security clearance is required to apply, however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance prior to the start date.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
