Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Commissioning Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning process of construction projects, ensuring that all systems and components are designed, installed, tested, and operational according to the specified requirements. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and clients, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the commissioning process from project initiation through to completion.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on commissioning activities.
- Conduct system testing and validation to verify compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the commissioning phase.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting commissioning activities, findings, and recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards throughout the commissioning process.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams and end-users on system operations and maintenance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in commissioning.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ yearsProven experience in project management, specifically in handover or commissioning roles within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
