Working alongside government leaders, military stakeholders, designers, and contractors, you will help manage risk, protect the government’s interests, and support the successful delivery of a high-profile Progressive Design-Build program. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark campus, advance innovative delivery methods, and help shape the future of large-scale Air Force infrastructure programs.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop the owner’s commissioning oversight and turnover matrix from the OPR and agreed system boundaries.
  • Review commissioning plans, test procedures, prerequisites, responsibilities, and integrated testing schedules.
  • Witness selected functional and integrated tests within qualifications and track deficiencies through verified closure.
  • Coordinate utility, life-safety, mechanical/electrical, and FRCS acceptance evidence with responsible specialists.
  • Review O&M manuals, training records, asset data, warranties, seasonal test plans, and remaining punch items.
  • Prepare building readiness recommendations and identify workload peaks that require additional qualified coverage.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/construction-related discipline and 7+ years of relevant experience, or an associate’s degree/technical qualification and 10+ years of directly relevant experience.
  • Experience commissioning building MEP systems and managing functional testing, deficiency logs, and turnover records.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple testing parties, interpret sequences of operation, and communicate unresolved acceptance risks.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to JBSA Fort Sam Houston.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, maintain accurate records, collaborate across disciplines, and handle project information in approved systems.
  • Ability to maintain a one team mentality amongst all stakeholders.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
