Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil Engineer to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
- On-Site Support to customer/client
- Provides quality assurance services specific to at least one of the following definable features of work: earthwork, handling of hazardous materials, data management, water management, aggregate processing, concrete placement, and testing, FDOT regulations, LEED guidelines, and structural.
- Responsibilities include delivery, modeling, evaluation,
analysis, and management of spatially referenced data obtained from terrestrial, marine, airborne, and satellite-based sensors in support of planning, design, and construction of civil works projects. - Construction inspection of dams, levees and dikes, seepage cutoff walls, dike/embankment inspections, construction of berms and all ancillary features such as flood control gates, pump stations and
associated electrical works, other general construction - Evaluation and analysis of records associated with
construction activities.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering.
- The required skills shall include a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
- Shall be physically capable of walking over rough terrain and standing long periods of time.
- Professional license preferred.
***Must have US person status and ability to obtain/maintain federal government project site and systems accesses.
***Local candidates preferred. Relocation assistance and per diem are unavailable for this position.
