Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil Engineer - Saudi National to join our team! In this role, you will perform a wide range of engineering assignments by applying standard and advanced engineering principles, tools, and techniques to support procurement, design development, and construction activities on medium to large-scale projects.
 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform a variety of engineering tasks using established engineering methods, standards, and company procedures within the civil engineering discipline.

• Prepare drawings, specifications, technical documents, and other deliverables suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD tools as required.

• Develop engineering calculations, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, surveys, and design solutions.

• Prepare detailed requisitions for materials and equipment in coordination with project and procurement teams.

• Review supplier and subcontractor drawing submittals and assist in technical bid evaluations.

• Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and construction documentation in accordance with project requirements.

• Provide technical input and guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, Designers, and junior engineers assigned to the project.

• Coordinate with internal project stakeholders and external parties including suppliers and clients.

• Support project execution across various phases, including design, procurement, and construction.

• Travel or relocate, as required, to supplier facilities, client offices, or construction sites.

• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as required to support project objectives.
   

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience, preferably on medium to large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.

• Strong working knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and standards within the civil discipline.

• Proficiency in CAD and CAE tools and other PC-based engineering software applications.

• Experience preparing engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.

• Ability to review technical submittals and contribute to bid and procurement evaluations.

• Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

• Willingness to travel or relocate to project, supplier, or client locations as required.
   

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or equivalent professional certification.

• Experience supporting large, complex, or multi-disciplinary engineering projects.

• Ability to provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and design staff.

• Familiarity with construction-phase engineering support and site coordination.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple engineering tasks concurrently.
