Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Camp Logistics Manager to join our Facility Management team!

He/she will manage all on-site field construction activities of major projects, often involving multiple units. (Typically a project having more than 5 million construction manhours or a total installed cost of more than $150 million.) Applies widely diversified knowledge of various disciplines to be used during construction, as well as the methods and techniques to be utilized for installation. Incumbent is thoroughly familiar with required contractual obligations and technical aspects of all facilities to be erected. In addition to construction supervision, the incumbent is also responsible for field administration, procurement, and field engineering. Willingness to relocate to construction site locations is expected.
 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Directs the overall planning and execution of on-site camp and logistics activities, identifying critical milestones and priorities.

  • Determines budget estimates and staffing requirements aligned with the defined scope and schedule.

  • Ensures subcontractor services, logistics resources, and major equipment are available at the appropriate time to maximize efficiency and productivity.

  • Establishes assignments for site teams and supervisors, monitors progress, and recommends corrective actions when required.

  • Conducts performance evaluations and recommends promotions and salary actions.

  • Manages the allocation of manpower, materials, accommodations, transportation, and equipment to maintain schedules and meet budget objectives.

  • Anticipates and resolves issues such as scope changes, schedule delays, and budget overruns.

  • Ensures sound operational and logistics practices to maintain required quality standards at optimal cost.

  • Prepares periodic progress reports and formal presentations for senior management and clients.

  • Ensures effective implementation of Company and client policies and procedures, including labor relations and site regulations.

  • Acts as the primary point of contact with client representatives, suppliers, subcontractors, and relevant authorities for logistics-related activities.

  • Maintains strong client and community relations as required.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

  • Demonstrated managerial capability on complex construction or infrastructure projects.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders in challenging site environments.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a construction-related field or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Typically 12+ years of experience supporting large-scale construction projects, including camp operations and site logistics, at domestic and/or international locations.

  • Proven experience managing logistics, facilities, and site support operations on projects of comparable scale and complexity.
