The CADD Manager will play a critical role in maintaining model integrity, supporting production teams, and ensuring compliance with NCDOT standards, project-specific requirements, and alternative delivery schedules.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific CADD standards, workflows, and best practices consistent with NCDOT requirements
Configure and manage Bentley applications to support production teams, including OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, and related tools.
Establish and maintain seed files, levels, symbology, cells, line styles, and workspace configurations
Coordinate with ProjectWise administrators to support internal document control, permissions, and workflows.
Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for CADD staff and designers.
Ensure consistent application of NCDOT CADD standards and naming conventions
Coordinate model integration and cross-discipline alignment in a model environment
Lead quality control reviews of models, plans, and digital deliverables prior to submittals.
Support internal planning for staffing, production sequencing, and milestone submittals.
Support alternative delivery milestones including ATC development, interim submittals, pricing sets, and RFC packages
Train and mentor staff on Bentley tools and project standards
Serve as Parsons’ point of contact for internal CADD coordination with JV partners and external stakeholders as needed
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, Design, or related field, or equivalent experience
10+ years of CADD experience, with 5+ years in a CADD leadership or management role
Extensive experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation
Working knowledge of ProjectWise and Bentley digital delivery workflows
Experience supporting alternative delivery projects (Design-Build, Progressive DB, CMGC)
Ability to manage multiple disciplines and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment
Strong communication and coordination skills with technical and non-technical team members
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
Prior experience on NCDOT Design-Build or Progressive Design-Build projects
Strong understanding of NCDOT CADD standards, manuals, and digital submittal requirements
Experience with OpenBridge, OpenDrainage, OpenUtilities, or model-based quantity workflows
Familiarity with model-based design, 3D corridor modeling, and digital construction support
Experience developing CADD execution plans for large, multi-team projects
Ability to train and mentor teams across multiple offices or JV partners
