Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CAD Technician to join our team! In this role you will get to support the design and installation of technical security systems.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Produce to scale architectural drawings representing site plan layouts

• Produce to scale architectural drawings representing floor plan layouts

• Produce to scale wall elevation drawings depicting layout of electronic and electrical equipment

• Produce isometric details of electrical and electronic equipment Produce riser diagrams

• Produce electrical diagrams and single-line drawings

• Produce schedules

• Ability to read, interpret electrical and electromechanical schematics and architectural drawings

• Ability to perform architectural surveys and elevations

• Communicate effectively with Design Engineers and other staff

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Active Top Secret security clearance or higher

• Associates degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering Technology (experience may be substituted for education)

• Ability and willingness to travel domestically as required

• Use Autodesk AutoCAD software including AutoCAD 15, 18 and MEP

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Three progressive years of direct experience and CADD Certificate preferred

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $29.95 - $52.40
