Our Parsons Oakland/ San Francisco  office is now hiring for a  Senior CAD Designer to join our team! In this role you will get to work with a team of engineers and other drafters using MicroStation , Autocad Civil 3D, and Revit to create engineering drawings supporting transportation infrastructure projects in The Bay Area , California

 You will be supporting clients such as BART, and local city and county transportation systems.

 Hybrid remote work allowed ( meaning ability to work from home 2-3 days per week) . This role supports rail and transit projects , and is based out of our Oakland office.  

What You'll Be Doing:

• Work with a team of engineers and other drafters to create drawing packages for transportation construction projects
• Design work for rail transit projects for BART and other local regional clients
• Use  design software from the Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Open Roads Designer or Microstation suites, depending on client requirements, as well as Revit.
• Check your work to adherence to client CAD standards and engineers’ markups

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• 2-year technical degree or other related certification of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent) is preferred, and typically  5  years or more of related experience.
• Experience supporting transportation infrastructure, inclusive of rail & transit is highly desirable
• Proficiency with  Microstation and  Autocad Civil 3D software is essential, Revit is a plus !

Salary Range: $29.42 - $59.33
