BIM Manager

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM Manager to join our team! As a BIM Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and ensuring full coordination between different trades through the implementation of BIM software. Your role will involve reviewing all drawings submitted by the contractor, seeking a clash-free model between different trades, and solving all clashes between different disciplines.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all drawings submitted by the contractor.
• Implement and manage BIM software to ensure full coordination between different trades.
• Identify and resolve clashes between different disciplines to achieve a clash-free model.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless integration of BIM processes.
• Maintain and update BIM models to reflect any changes or modifications.
• Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM software and processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in BIM implementation.
• Prepare and present reports on BIM coordination and clash detection to project stakeholders.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in infrastructure works.
• Strong knowledge of all drafting software, with a particular emphasis on BIM.
• Solid engineering understanding of structure, utilities, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).
• Proficiency in drafting techniques and BIM processes.
• Experience in managing and coordinating large-scale projects using BIM.
