Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM/ CAD Specialist to join our Urban Planning team. In this role you will get to play a crucial role in translating urban planning concepts into detailed and accurate digital representations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with urban planners and architects to develop detailed Building Information Models (BIM) and layouts for urban planning projects.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of authority approvals relevant to urban planning, such as DM, DDA, etc.

• Create base maps, including sign-off sheets, plot development guidelines, and land use plans, by digitizing and organizing collected data.

• Possess understanding of land use schedules.

• Utilize software like AutoCAD to create and manage layouts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. (Candidates with experience in MicroStation and Civil 3D will be preferred)

• Provide understanding in BIM workflows, standards, and best practices to optimize the efficiency of the urban planning design process.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments to the Layouts / BIM models.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline .

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a BIM / CAD role within the Urban Planning or Architecture field.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. (Preference: MicroStation and Civil3D)

• Understanding of BIM principles, workflows, and standards.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team.

• Knowledge of urban planning concepts and terminology is a plus.
