Associate Utilities Engineer

Qatar, Doha

Parsons is looking forward to hiring an entry level Associate Utilities Engineer! In this role as a new graduate level engineer, you will be trained and mentored under supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices and gain valuable exposure to company standards and exciting projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Performing various engineering duties utilizing basic engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline for the Utility corridors design, master planning of utilities, Utilities Cross sections, writing technical notes, and coordination of existing and new utilities infrastructure.

• Engaging in developmental training under close supervision, gaining exposure to engineering theories, practices, and company procedures.

• Completing engineering and design assignments applying basic principles and theories studied in a Bachelor's in engineering program.

• Assisting in preparing fundamental engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.

• Providing input to CAD Designer/Drafters and performing other associated responsibilities as appropriate

• Shall be with fair knowledge with Qatar Utilities Authority regulations such as MM, PWA, KME, KMW, QAF, Ooredoo, Q-Rail and other relevant authorities within gulf region.

• You will prepare engineering design models in Civil3D or similar software.

• Contribute as a productive and efficient team member to meet project deadlines.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• 0-3 years experience, can be a fresh graduate

• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate is advantage.

• Familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.

• Excellent written and oral communication.

• Understands QA/QC standard practices and procedures.
