Associate Mechanical Engineer

Qatar, Doha

Parsons is looking forward to hiring an entry level Associate Mechanical Engineer! In this role as a new graduate level engineer, you will be trained and mentored under supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices and gain valuable exposure to company standards and exciting projects.

What You'll be Doing:

• Performing various engineering duties utilizing basic engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline.

• Engaging in developmental training under close supervision, gaining exposure to engineering theories, practices, and company procedures.

• Utilizing CAE/CAD applications for engineering tasks.

• Completing engineering and design assignments applying basic principles and theories studied in a Bachelor's in engineering program.

• Assisting in preparing fundamental engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.

• Providing input to CAD Designer/Drafters and performing other associated responsibilities as appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 0-2 years experience, open to fresh graduate

• Relevant Mechanical engineering internship experience.

• Familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.

•  Ability to apply basic engineering principles, techniques, and analyses within the mechanical engineering discipline.

• Ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing) on technical and non-technical subjects.
