Associate Mechanical Engineer

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will support various mechanical engineering projects, ensuring efficient and effective completion aligned with our strategic goals.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for various projects.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project alignment.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.
• Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, monitoring compliance.
• Serve as a point of contact for project updates and stakeholder inquiries, ensuring clear communication.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct technical analyses and calculations to support project design and implementation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input as required.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and construction methodologies.
