Job Description:

Associate Environmental Engineer

Qatar, Doha

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Environmental Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to perform a variety of basic to moderately-difficult engineering projects that require a fundamental knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques under the supervision of a degreed engineer. 

What You'll Be doing:

• Assist project senior engineers in conducting research and gathering baseline environmental data (e.g., ecological resources, air quality, noise levels, water quality, socio-economic data) through literature reviews, database searches, and potentially assisting with field data collection planning.

• Support the analysis and interpretation of environmental data under the guidance of senior staff.

• Assist in drafting specific sections of EIA reports, technical memos, and related documentation.

• Help prepare figures, maps, and tables for inclusion in reports and presentations.

• Assist in researching relevant local, regional, and national environmental regulations, standards, and guidelines applicable to infrastructure projects.

• Support the team in identifying potential environmental impacts associated with proposed projects and researching potential mitigation measures.

• Participate in team meetings, take meeting minutes, and provide general project support as needed.

• Assist with document management, formatting, and quality control checks.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field)

• A fresh graduate with some experience

• Must have a strong academic record and coursework relevant to the Associate Environmental Engineer position.

• Must have a strong understanding of engineering principles relevant to the field of environmental engineering.
