Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Safety Manager to join our team! In this role you will implement effective safety programs and assure that contractual requirements ae being met regarding safety and security requirements. You will monitor and document contractors working at LAX.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Work with LAX inspection, contractors' safety and project management teams.
• Perform Task Hazard Analysis and report safety observations
• Verify safety performance and compliance in the field per written safety plans
• Attend and document tool box meetings, new employee orientation, daily safety inspections and accident/incident/investigations.
• Promote proactive and behavior based safety both internally and externally.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Poses and active BCSP Construction Health and Safety Technician credentials
• 5 years of vertical, tunnel or heavy civil construction experience
• Cal OSHA 10/30 hour authorized trainer
• CPR/ 1st aid Instructor
• High school diploma or equivalent
• NFPA 70e certification a plus
• Clear written and verbal communication

Salary Range: 

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
