Job Description:

Assistant Project Manager (Roads & Infrastructure)

Dubai, UAE

What You'll be Doing:

• Provide support to Project Manager/Project Director in managing the design delivery of a portfolio of projects

• Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors. 

• Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.  May participate in negotiations wi th regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.  

• Oversee establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.  

• Establish the program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria. 

• Responsible for the development and distribution of a one to twopage description of the project to all members of the project team for reference.  

• Manage and control all the project communications

• Coordinate and control all deliverables

• Projects' quality management

• Projects' reporting

• Stakeholder management

   
What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in civil Engineering

• Minimum 6 years experience in design delivery of roads and infrastructure projects.

• Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in the project. 

• Our Assistant Project Managers still get very involved in the designs on the project. 

• Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards

• Incumbent must meet Parsons' project management certification requirements. 

• Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications
