Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Architect to join our team! In this role you will get to work on an exciting new masterplan mixed use development in Saudi Arabia and an opportunity to progress your career to the next level.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develops design solutions proficiently and prepares high quality presentation drawings, renders based on understanding of local and international regulation and Building Code.
Manage design consultants and design programme
Review and comment on design deliverables
Attend design workshops and technical and progress meetings
Prepares technical packages from concept design, through Design development, Final Design to Tender and Contract documentation.
Produces and manages Production Information, working designs and high quality presentation drawings.
Attend site to assist with supervision of installation of the contract works.
Produces outline and general specifications.
Provides liaison with CADD technicians.
Provides support and production assistance to team members.
Assists in cataloguing, library development, sourcing for materials and technical support.
Assist and support the Document control team on Submissions, filing structure and naming conventions for design deliverables.
Assist the Project Controls team on developing design workflows and mapping same on the PMIS
Support the Senior Architect on day-to-day activities
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Engineering or Architectural Degree (or equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant experience
Senior Architects should have strong design and presentation skills and be proficient with hand graphics and computer graphics.
Experience in the use of AutoCAD, Rivet, Adobe Photoshop, PageMaker, Sketchup and Illustrator is preferred.
Ability to use and work on MicroStation is an asset.
Be familiar with Saudi Building Codes

Experience with Primavera 6
Artwork/freehand drawing skills
Experience working for a design consultant
