When I joined Parsons in 2011, I was drawn to three things; the people, the projects, and the opportunities for career growth. After nearly 12 years, these same three things ring true. I have had the opportunity to work on some of California's most innovative transportation projects with a first-class team of engineers that continuously exceed my expectations. My career goals have come to fruition year after year.

I started my career at the age of 24 in a multinational organization, which was a dream come true! Parsons has been home to a pool of seasoned employees and a land of possibilities. I was a young employee pumped with energy but lost without foresight. Thankfully, I landed with a great mentor who guided me to envision my future at Parsons. Building my career and molding my mindset to innovating ideas were all inspired by watching the "Top-Guns". and hidden gems within the organization. Parsons has allowed young professionals like me to exhibit our skills and has the best spirits when challenging young employees to get out of their comfort zones. I lead the Early Career Development program in the Middle East [Qatar], which guides young professionals during their careers. We break through barriers to bring up events and help management engage the employees. Parsons open-door policy allows me to attain my objectives in ECD. I have learned from Parsons that the word "impossible" is a myth and that anything is possible if we believe in ourselves.

Joining Parsons a little over three years ago was exciting, and I landed my dream job in the Recruiting field. There were several mentors and great women that made an impact on my career; making the transition to specialized recruitment couldn’t have happened without them. At Parsons, I’m part of a team that values employee input and implements change based on honest feedback and open dialogue. The opportunity to grow through tiger teams and other special projects is always there. I hope to continue positively impacting everyone I have an opportunity to encounter – particularly our candidates and new hires, as they, too, land their dream job with Parsons.

I came to Parsons 5 years ago with an acquisition. From day one, my team and I were made to feel at home here and given a voice in decision-making. Since then, I've been presented with several opportunities for promotion. As the CTO of Defense and Intelligence, I'm proud to see how Parsons leads with technology in supporting our customers and the mission. While Parsons has a long history as an industry leader supporting large-scale critical infrastructure programs, seeing the company's growth in the Federal market has been exciting. I look forward to seeing what we can achieve over the next few years as we evolve our technologies through internal investment and acquisitions. I think Parsons can make a substantial impact in national defense.
