Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Stakeholder Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to build and maintain a network of industry partners, public authorities, government (local, national) and key decision who will help facilitate the successful completion of the projects within the Program.
Maintaining communication with external stakeholders and peers to remain knowledgeable about current industry precedents and practices and to look for ways to work cooperatively towards common goals.
Playing a key role in effectively resolving the critical physical interface issues between the project objectives and existing utilities by facilitating effective working relationships between governmental or semi-governmental bodies (ministries, authorities, schools, municipality, water & electricity operators, telecom operators…)
What You'll Be Doing:
Coordinate with the PMO team to identify the program stakeholders
Support the preparation of and update as necessary the program Stakeholder Management Plan
Represent the project at meetings with the stakeholders;
Provide responses to requests from stakeholders for project level information.
Monitoring current and emerging stakeholder issues and trends, legal precedents and changes in the regulatory environment (political, social, environmental and industrial) that may affect the project strategy.
Support the Stakeholder Manager to Instigate, manage and report on regular meetings with program/individual project stakeholders;
At the initiation stage of a project identifies the ownership of the land; and the project stakeholders;
Support in the development of procedures and processes for permits and approvals
Prepare, submit and obtain approval of the documents required by the authorities for the investigation of the project;
Communicates with the project stakeholders in accordance with the Stakeholder Management Plan;
Prepares and obtains approval of the documents required by the authorities for the planning of the project;
Works closely with the stakeholders concerning the planning of the necessary utility diversions and traffic diversion schemes
Prepares, submits and obtains approval of the documents required by the authorities for the completion of the Projects
Ability to effectively develop an argument, persuade an audience. Working with the client to enhance the program’s image and to ensure successful community engagement through the encouragement of civic pride.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree Engineering (or related field)
Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience
Experience in stakeholders’ management in KSA and Riyadh in particular.
Presentable and strong communication skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English
Saudi Nationals only.
