Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Manager Transportation- PMCM to join our team! In this role you will get to oversee the planning, design, and execution of transportation infrastructure projects; coordinate with designers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders; and develop detailed project plans including scope definition, design reviews and design management.
What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee the planning, design, and execution of large-scale transportation infrastructure projects.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Coordinate with Designers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Lead multidisciplinary teams effectively to achieve project goals.
Develop detailed project plans including scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management plans, quality control measures, and communication strategies.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise during construction.
Conduct Design reviews.
Ensure all projects comply with local regulations and industry standards within the Qatar/GCC region.
Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders detailing project status updates including progress reports on milestones achieved against planned targets as well as financial performance metrics such as budget adherence or cost overruns if applicable.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
BS Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification with 15 years of extensive experience in transportation design and construction projects.
Proven track record in managing large infrastructure projects from inception through completion stages.
Previous experience in Project Management/Construction Management (PMCM).
At least 5 years of professional experience within the Qatar/GCC region
Strong project management skills
Proficient transportation engineering including traffic, roads highways bridges related infrastructure.
Exceptional leadership abilities.
Excellent problem-solving skills
