Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Manager Mechanical - PMCM to join our team! In this role you will get to manage the planning, design, installation, and commissioning of Mechanical systems for design and construction projects, coordinate with stakeholders, manage budgets and schedules, identify risks, provide regular progress reports, assisting in scoping for design consultants, and overseeing design review and construction management tasks.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Project Oversight: Manage the planning, design, installation, and commissioning of Mechanical systems for construction projects.
  Coordination: Work closely with designers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all Mechanical work aligns with overall project goals.

• Compliance: Ensure all Mechanical installations comply with local regulations and industry standards.

• Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to Mechanical systems and develop mitigation strategies.

• Budget Management: Monitor budgets related to Mechanical components of the project to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

• Scheduling: Develop detailed schedules for Mechanical work that align with overall project timelines.

• Scoping for Design Consultants and Design Management: Assist in the preparation of scoping documents for design consultants and manage design-related tasks effectively.

• Design Review and Construction Management Tasks: Participate in design review processes and oversee construction management tasks to ensure seamless execution from planning through completion.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

•  15 years of experience in Mechanical engineering for infrastructure, utilities, and landscape projects.​

• PMCM Experience.

• At least 5 years of professional experience within the Qatar/GCC region.

• Mechanical Engineering Expertise: Proficient in the design and construction of water/ wastewater pump station, wastewater treatment plants, piping systems for water distribution, wastewater collection, drainage, gas, district cooling, etc..)

• Knowledge of codes, design manuals and construction practices. Experience on large leisure-oriented masterplans is preferable.

• Project Management: Strong ability to manage planning, design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems for large-scale construction projects.

• Coordination: Excellent coordination skills to work closely with designers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

• Quality Control: Ability to implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in all electrical work.

• Design Scoping & Management: Experience in preparing scoping documents for design consultants and managing design-related tasks effectively.
